Why Geothermal Heating & Cooling makes sense in a new build.....

We receive phone calls daily with folks who are building a new home inquiring about geothermal heating and cooling in Upstate NY including the areas around Rochester, Buffalo and the Finger Lakes region.  Our response is why would you not install geothermal in a new home????

In a new home, you already need to purchase a heating, cooling and domestic hot water system. You already need a distribution system, either ducting for forced air or radiant heating. 

Just like an existing home, there is a 30% Federal Tax Credit with no limit on it for new construction! The incremental cost to switch to geothermal after the tax credit is usually minimal, with paybacks as little as 1-2 years!
